1. Buy chemical-free cosmetics
Everything you put onto your skin is absorbed into your bloodstream. You should read the labels on your cosmetic products in order to make sure that you aren't putting toxins through your skin.
2. Get a reusable water bottle
Anything that quickly and permanently phases out single-use plastic bottles helps to improve the relationship with people living in oil-rich nations, protects the ecosystems, saves resources, reduces waste and pollution, and saves money.
3. Hang your laundry
Clothes dryers emit loads of climate-changing carbon dioxide. In Malta, we are blessed to have sunny weather nearly all year round so we have no excuse to use a dryer! Simply hang your laundry in the sun or use a folding drying rack.
4. Cut down on the times you use your car
By reducing your transportation footprint, you'd be decreasing the leading cause of carbon dioxide emissions. Besides this, you'd cut down on air pollution which has horrible effects on our health-such as asthma. You can do this by increasing the amounts of time you walk, use the bike, take public transport or carpool.
5. Detoxify your home

Household cleaning products are ranked among the most toxic everyday substances to which people are exposed. Many of these substances aren't only toxic to the body but they also give off toxic fumes that have an effect on the person using the product.
